Church Secretary wanted!

Position is part time paid staff. Must be dependable, discreet, friendly, professional, and neat. Will provide administrative support to pastoral staff, ministers, and ministries.
Must:
1. have experience in secretarial and administrative skills
2. be computer literate and accurate typing, 55 + wpm
3. possess good organizational skills
4. be detail oriented
5. possess pleasant phone manner
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Participate in staff planning meetings.
2. Compose or transcribe correspondence for pastoral staff and church.
3. Keep accurate church records, including attendance, membership, baptismal, marriage, newsletter, special mailing lists, etc.
4. Use desktop-publisher software to prepare
* Church newsletter
* Special flyers as needed
* Bulletins
5. Make phone calls as directed by pastoral staff.
6. Order/maintain office and administrative supplies, including stamps or postage for postage meter.
7. Prepare and maintain annual reports, minutes from church conferences and other special projects as directed by pastoral staff.
8. Maintain schedule of appointments for pastor.
9. Maintain master calendar of events.
10. Keep list of hospitalized church members, special prayer requests, deaths, births, and other important events. Mail cards from church as appropriate.
11. Observe/delegate tasks to the volunteer administrative and clerical help.

Musician wanted!

Position is part time paid staff. Must be dependable, consistent, have good character, be neat, organized, and supportive. Will provide music and play during regularly scheduled services. Will play as scheduled for special services: revivals, concerts, seasonal programs, etc. Will play for choir practice as scheduled. Will play during offertories as scheduled. Weddings and funerals are optional as employed by the individuals requesting the service.
Must:
1. have experience and ability to play contemporary music and hymns
2. have ability to play written music and by ear.
3. have familiarity with electric keyboard and piano (both standard and digital)
4. be able to teach parts to choir members
5. be able to play well

Youth Pastor wanted!

Position is part-to-full time paid staff. Must be an Expresser-leader, compassionate, dependable, and analytical.
Must:
1. Have education and experience in theology and counseling
2. Be a good role model
3. Have no criminal record
Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Give direction to and oversee the youth ministry.
* Identify the needs and interests of teens within the church and community.
* Plan and develop programs for the youth ministry.
* Evaluate existing programs to determine effectiveness.
* Identify and provide ministry opportunities for teens.
2. Meet monthly with youth ministry leaders to pray and to discuss upcoming events, challenges, solutions, and praises.
3. Recruit youth workers as needed. Provide training for youth workers as needed. Plan one major training/inspirational workshop a year. 4. Provide counseling and spiritual direction to teens on an individual basis.
5. Participate in outreach ministry to teens who have visited the church: visits, letters, etc.
6. Lead midweek Bible study for teens.
7. Plan at least one yearly youth retreat for the purpose of spiritual edification.
8. Visit teens who are hospitalized.
9. Participate in training opportunities yearly, or as presented.
10. Develop the youth ministry budget and track expenditures throughout the year.
11. Compile a youth directory, have copies made and distribute to teens and youth workers.
